We live in a world where you can have an answer to your question in an instant. You can find several experts with stats and recommendations and top 10s. I love learning!!! I have multiple certifications and definitely value knowledge. I had to put a ban on myself from buying courses. đ I get it! Â
But I see a dark side to the excessive amount of âguidanceâ we can find on the internet.Â
More and more we are outsourcing what is best for our bodies and our well being.Â
Instead of turning inward to our own wisdom, we find something online to tell us what we need to do to fix ourselves.Â
But, you are the expert in you.Â
Do you see yourself that way?Â
By all means, study things. Experiment. Be curious. Seek and work with experts because you donât have to do life all alone. But hereâs the difference â Â take things in AND remember you are the expert in you.Â
Maybe next time you feel unsure about something, donât go online. Go inward.Â
Spend some time in nature. Be in silence. Breathe a little bit.Â
Feel.Â
Whatever is coming up.Â
Stop grasping for solutions.Â
Stop looking for the best top 10 how to list.Â
Stop scrolling and filling your brain with 15 seconds of stimuli that usually saying âyouâre doing it wrong.â
Stop signing up for the freebie downloads that youâre not going to implement anyway.Â
What would Instagram be if we all decided that weâre doing it right?Â
Do we really need that many ideas in a day anyway???? Could that possibly be part of the reason why we all feel information overload???Â
Stop going online. Go inward.Â
Trust yourself.
Trust yourself.Â
Trust yourself.Â
May you not outsource your wellbeing. May you decide youâre doing it right. May you remember that you are the expert in you.Â
Many hugs,Â
Laura Â
